About these terms

These terms apply to your use of lei-brands.com and Lei-Hub (app.lei-brands.com), provided by Leibrands Financial Management and Tax Consultancy (“Leibrands”, “we”, “us”), 61 Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown, Guyana. By using either, you agree to these terms and to our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

Our services and engagement letters

The services described on this website are a general guide. What we will do for you, the timeline and the fees are agreed in a written engagement letter. If anything in these terms conflicts with your engagement letter, the engagement letter applies. A quote or a conversation is not a commitment by either side until an engagement letter is signed.

Your responsibilities as a client

• Give us complete, accurate and timely information and documents.
• Review and approve work when we ask, before it is filed.
• Tell us promptly about changes to your business, employees or tax position.
• Pay our fees as agreed.

You remain responsible for your own tax and compliance obligations. We are not responsible for penalties, interest or refusals caused by information that was incomplete, inaccurate or late.

Agency decisions

Decisions on returns, registrations, compliance certificates and other applications are made by GRA, NIS and other agencies. We cannot guarantee any outcome, approval or processing time.

Using Lei-Hub

• Your login is for you alone. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• Only upload documents that relate to the work we are doing for you.
• Lei-Hub is not a permanent store for your documents. Keep your own copies of everything you send us.
• We may suspend access to protect the security of Lei-Hub or other clients’ information.

Using this website

Use this website and Lei-Hub only for lawful purposes. Don’t try to gain unauthorised access, interfere with how they work, upload anything harmful, or pretend to be someone else.

Availability

We aim to keep the website and Lei-Hub available, but we don’t promise that they will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. We may change or withdraw any part of them at any time.

Our content

The content, design and branding of this website and Lei-Hub belong to Leibrands. You may view and print pages for your own use but may not copy or reuse them for any other purpose without our written permission. Information and documents you give us remain yours.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Guyana, Leibrands, its owners, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of this website or Lei-Hub, from it being unavailable, or from reliance on general information published on it. Liability for services we provide is governed only by the relevant engagement letter. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Owners, directors and staff

The protections in these terms extend to the owners, directors, employees and agents of Leibrands. You agree not to bring any claim personally against any of them in connection with this website or Lei-Hub, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the website or Lei-Hub after a change means you accept the updated terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Guyana, and the courts of Guyana have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
